About Ranong Road bus station (blue buses)
The blue songthaews, Phuket's oldest buses — open trucks with wooden benches — start from Ranong Road at the main market in Phuket Town. Each runs from town to one beach or a group of beaches and back, never between beaches: Patong, Karon and Kata, Kamala to Bang Tao, Rawai and Nai Harn, Chalong, and Bang Rong Pier. They leave about every half hour from 06:00 to 18:00, for 30 to 50 baht.
