A southern Thai restaurant on a hilltop above Khok Kloi, with a view over the mountains and down to the sea. The cooking is bold and local: stir-fried curries and yellow curry soups with shrimp, pork or fish, and the staff will tell you what came in fresh that day. The MICHELIN Guide lists it at a moderate price. The road up Soi Namtok Wat Khao is steep, so take it slowly; open daily 09:00–21:00.
