Accessibility
What we check on every page of the site before it is published, what we do not claim, and how to tell us about a problem.
What we check
Every public page goes through the same automated checks on every change, before it reaches the site: nothing serious from the axe accessibility engine; no horizontal overflow on a phone (393 px wide) or on a laptop (1512 px); animation that follows the system's reduced-motion setting; every control reachable from the keyboard, with a visible focus.
Text is real text, not an image; every image that carries meaning has a description; headings follow one order; the language of the page is declared; forms name their fields and report their errors in words.
What we do not claim
We make no claim to a WCAG conformance level. The checks above are automated, and an automated check does not find everything a person does.
Tell us about a problem
If a page is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, a magnifier or on a small screen, write to us with the page's address and what went wrong. We answer within 1 working day.
