Phuket Town's best-known place for kanom jeen, the fresh rice noodles that Phuket people eat for breakfast and lunch with curry. You choose a curry, collect a tray of fresh vegetables, herbs and pickles, and mix your own bowl; the crowd is almost all local. It is on Phuket Road near the Saphan Hin park, in Talat Yai, and opens from 09:00 to 19:00.
