Easy to miss on a fast stretch of Chao Fa Road in Chalong, Bucha is a southern Thai restaurant set out like a gallery: wooden tables in soft light among rows of Buddha images and Luang Pu Thuat amulets. Its own curry pastes give the food the South's heat and gentle sourness — yellow curry, fresh herb salads, crisp local fish under budu sauce — in generous portions for sharing.
