Naka Weekend Market

Phuket's big weekend market, on Wirat Hong Yok Road south of Phuket Town near Wat Naka, a weekend fixture for decades. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, 16:00–22:00, a wide area of stalls sells clothing, accessories, souvenirs and handicrafts, many of them copies of brands, and above all local food, sweets and Thai desserts, with live music. Goods, not food, are bargained for.
