Arapaima Fishing Park Phuket

A stocked fishing lake in Chalong where the fish are bigger than the children catching them; a family outing. The headline catch is the arapaima, an air-breathing Amazon giant that grows past two metres, and the same water holds Mekong giant catfish, redtail catfish and alligator gar. Sessions run half a day, a full day or at night, rods and bait included; half a day for one angler costs 2,500 baht.
