COAST Beach Club & Bistro

The beach club and bistro of the Centara Grand resort at the north end of Karon Beach, the quieter end, open to hotel guests and visitors alike. There is plenty of room between the daybeds, a canopy for shade, and music that stays in the background; live music plays on some afternoons. The kitchen covers Thai and international dishes — cheeses and cold cuts, fresh seafood, grills — and a themed Sunday brunch runs once a month. Prices are fair for a hotel club, and it rarely feels crowded.
