Amatara Welleisure Resort sits on a hillside at the tip of Cape Panwa, on Phuket's quiet south-east coast, and is built around wellness. Its all-inclusive retreats combine the room, healthy meals and a personal programme: detox in three forms, a spa retreat, stress and burnout recovery, gut health, yoga, weight management and fitness; the spa, burnout and gut-health retreats run 5 to 14 nights. The spa, with sea-view rooms and a Thai hammam, also takes visitors not staying, and a day pass opens the infinity pool and the beach.

A spa menu of nearly 60 pages: the 165-minute Thai Hammam (exfoliation, massage, thermal mud, sauna and steam), many massages, scrubs and beauty treatments, and Reiki, naturopathy and chakra balancing.

Detox in three forms: AMATARA Detox (a detox diet with colonic hydrotherapy), Body Detox (juice fasting, no colonics) and Mind Detox (a detox diet, no colonics).
Every detox retreat includes the room, return airport transfers, full board or the detox menu, a 60-minute consultation with two follow-ups, a blood-pressure check, a physical analysis and a body-composition test.
Spa Revive, a spa retreat of 10 or 14 nights: massages, facials, the 105-minute Thai Hammam journey and a daily infrared sauna or steam.
Stress & Burnout Recovery of 10 or 14 nights: energy healing, Shirodhara, Thai salt-pot therapy and the Thai Hammam journey.
