About Wat Mongkol Nimit

A big working temple right in the centre of Phuket Town, quiet despite the streets around it. Two ornate halls hold the monks' ceremonies, the temple doubles as a school for novices, and a tall chedi waits at the back of the grounds for the few who walk that far. Entry is free.

Also known as Wat Mongkhon Nimit, Wat Klang
