About Toh Daeng Phuket Old Town

A little shophouse on Dibuk Road reborn as the town branch of Toh Daeng, the family restaurant at Mai Khao that has sat in the MICHELIN Guide for years. It wears the original's dark red — "Toh Daeng" means "red table" — and the small dining room is filled with vintage pieces and family photos, with a backyard garden that keeps the shophouse's traditional cooking station. Like Baan Ar Jor, it is a heritage project of the owner's grandson.
