About Raya
One of Phuket Town's most talked-about restaurants, in an old mansion on Dibuk Road, where a home cook began serving her family's recipes to friends in 1994. Kang pu, crab meat in yellow curry over rice noodles, is the dish it is known for. Downstairs has small tables and quiet corners; upstairs opens when it fills or for groups who book. It held a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand from 2019 to 2024 and has left the 2026 Guide, but the cooking is the same. Expect 300–600 THB a head; open daily 10:00–22:00.
