About Jok Samui

A true local supper spot in the Old Town: from 5 pm to midnight a team of three works like a market stall, ladling smooth rice porridge out front with minced pork, a soft egg, ginger and spring onion. Do as the regulars do and tear a patonggo doughnut into the bowl. Khao tom and mee suah noodles complete the short menu, and nothing costs more than 80 baht.
