About Chuan Chim

A plain shophouse on Montri Road, by the Old Town, that has been one of Phuket's food shops for decades and is now in the hands of the second generation. Everything is cooked to order with fresh seafood, and the wok work earns its MICHELIN Bib Gourmand: tom yam seafood soup, squid deep-fried with garlic and pepper, a bright seafood salad with cashews, and pork with basil. Cheap; open 12:00–20:30, closed on Sunday.
