Ranong Road Market

Phuket Town's oldest and largest fresh market, on Ranong Road in the heart of the old town, in front of the blue-bus station. A concrete main building of 2010 and an open-air section in the lanes across the street sell fresh produce, seafood, meat, dried goods and ready-made food to households, restaurants and smaller markets. It runs from midnight to noon, busiest from about 03:00 to 07:00, when the farmers' trucks arrive.
