About Chiarawanit Pier
Chiarawanit Pier, also spelt Chean Vanich or Chionwanit, stands on the east coast in the south of Phuket Town, a short way north of Rassada Pier. It is one of the three Phuket piers for boats to Koh Yao Yai, beside Bang Rong and Laem Hin; boats land at Chong Lard or Klong Hia at the north end of the island after a crossing of roughly half an hour to 45 minutes.
