About Dou Brew Coffee & Craft
A coffee roaster in one of Soi Romanee's shophouses, left with its old plaster and high ceilings and fitted with nothing newer than a teak counter. The beans, mostly arabica from northern Thailand, are roasted at the back, and the nitro cold brew is the drink to try first; the other half of the board is bean-to-bar chocolate from Thai cacao, as bars, bonbons or a drink. It opens at 8, the best hour on the lane before the crowds, with stools out under the arcade.
