A café built for photos on Thalang Road: a new two-storey shophouse in the street's Sino-Portuguese style, its front covered with mirrors and artificial pink flowers, where a small crowd poses at most hours of the day. Inside it is calmer than the pavement: a few seats downstairs and a larger, comfortably decorated room upstairs, reached by outside stairs, that makes a playground for more pictures.
