About Smigo's Bar & Restaurant
A thatched bamboo bar on the sand at the far northern end of Bang Tao Beach, just before the headland towards Layan, open since 2022. About twenty big beanbags face the sea, with low tables under coloured umbrellas; the kitchen serves Thai and Western food and grilled seafood, and the bar cocktails, fruit shakes, coconuts and local beer, with happy-hour prices in the late afternoon. A DJ plays chilled house and reggae from sunset, and on most nights there is a short fire show after dark. Open 10:00–23:00; park on the sandy lane outside.
