About Komol's Corner Bamboo Rafting
A family-run bamboo rafting trip in Lam Kaen, south-east of Khao Lak, running since 2004: a local guide poles a traditional bamboo raft along a 3 km stretch of Khlong Wang Kiang Ku, a clear stream coming down from Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park through quiet forest. The pace is slow and the setting green, a relaxing break from the beach; transport from Khao Lak can be arranged.
