About Boat Avenue
An open-air centre of restaurants, bars and shops at the entrance to Laguna in Cherngtalay, next door to Porto de Phuket. It began small and has grown into the north of the island's favourite place to eat out, from Thai and seafood to serious European cooking. Its main shop is a Villa Market supermarket full of imported goods, and on Friday evenings a market fills the walkways.
