A big, easy-going Isaan restaurant on Mae Luan Road in Phuket Town, serving the bold, sour and fiery food of north-eastern Thailand. The som tam is pounded to order, so ask for the heat you can handle; mushroom laab, grilled-beef namtok and crispy shredded catfish with green mango are the dishes to share, with grilled meats and sticky rice around them. The room is large, so walking in at dinner time is rarely a problem.
