Two Japanese barbecue restaurants under one roof on Yaowarat Road, just north of the Old Town, sharing the same charcoal. SHOKUN is the all-you-can-eat buffet — six price tiers from 599 to 2,499 baht, two hours at the grill, and anything left uneaten is charged. SHOKUN X next door is the quieter à la carte room, with better cuts, wagyu platters and a real drinks list. Choose before you go: the bill differs threefold. Book at weekends.
