A plain shop under a red-brown zinc roof on Yaowarat Road that draws a queue at lunch for its strongly flavoured southern Thai cooking. Try the fresh squid with herbs and a tangy dressing, sour curry with fish and young coconut shoots, or kaeng pu, crab curry with betel leaves. Dishes cost about 150 THB, payment is cash only and the menu is mostly in Thai, so point or ask. In the MICHELIN Guide; open 09:00–20:30, closed on Monday.
