About Project Artisan
A restaurant set in a big, shady garden in Choeng Thale, a few minutes inland from Bang Tao. Local craftsmen built and decorated it and Thai artists painted the murals that run from the entrance sign through the garden, so it feels half restaurant, half gallery. The menu mixes Thai and European dishes, with vegetarian and vegan choices and a children's menu; burgers cost about 430–570 THB. Tables are under the trees, in a covered pavilion or in an air-conditioned room. Open daily 11:00–23:00.
