About Lertrod Kitchen
A modest-looking, air-conditioned restaurant opposite Phuket airport, worth knowing before a flight or after landing. The cook buys from local farmers and fishermen for simple central and southern Thai food: the deep-fried sea bass with fish sauce never disappoints, and the southern sour curry comes with pickled bamboo, coconut shoots or pineapple. A photo menu in Thai, English and Chinese makes ordering easy. In the MICHELIN Guide since 2019; open daily 10:00–22:00.
