About Lerdros Tomyum Noodle

A red-fronted noodle shop with a giant bowl of noodles on its roof, on Wichit Songkhram Road west of the Old Town. Its name means roughly "excellent taste", and one dish brings people in: tom yum noodles, which are not the prawn soup but a bowl seasoned sour, sweet, salty and hot with roasted chilli paste, lime and crushed peanuts, piled with pork in several forms and a fried wonton. A young team, simple local cooking, a short ride from Thalang Road.
