About Go Eed Beer Wun
A neighbourhood restaurant by a canal bridge in Phuket Town where local families share tables of Thai dishes over bottles of beer wun — Chang or Leo chilled until it turns to slush as it is poured. Sit across the lane on the canal-side terrace under strings of bulbs and order to share: crispy fried-egg salad, hor mok, a steamed fish under ginger.

Good to know
- Cuisine
Classic Thai comfort food at local prices, for sharing; beer wun ("jelly beer"): Chang or Leo chilled below zero, which turns to slush when opened.
- Dishes
Yam khai dao (crispy fried-egg salad), hor mok (curried fish mousse in a banana-leaf cup), a whole steamed fish with ginger.
- Setting
Two parts across a small street: the shophouse with the kitchen and red plastic chairs, and a canal-bank terrace under trees strung with light bulbs (stainless-steel tables, a gravel floor). Look for the big yellow โกอี๊ด sign; neighbours by the same bridge also serve beer wun.
