About Go Ang Seafood

Phuket Town's best-known seafood dinner, on Phuket Road towards Saphan Hin. It started as a bare shop under a zinc roof and has grown room by room, an air-conditioned back room included, but the open kitchen at the front is unchanged and the owner, Go Ang, still cooks. Crab, horseshoe crab and mantis shrimp come from five markets each day: try steamed crab with a sour seafood dip, mantis shrimp fried with garlic and the spicy sour soup with sea bass. In the MICHELIN Guide; open daily 17:00–23:30.
