About Black Cat Restaurant
Black Cat has fed the Bang Tao crowd since 1996, and Philippe, the French chef who runs it with his Thai wife Meow, still cooks the same classics: a proper French onion soup, a pork chop in mushroom sauce, crème brûlée from the pastry made each morning. The Thai side is worth a look too. It is open-air bamboo and wood, dim and easy-going, opposite Porto de Phuket; pasta and pizza 350–490 baht, and a free shuttle from Laguna.
