Malin Plaza

An open-air market at the southern end of Patong Beach, on Prachanukhro Road. The front half is food stalls and drink stands around shared tables, several of them halal, which draws many visitors from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Middle East; the back half sells clothes, beachwear, souvenirs, wood carvings and skincare, with a tailor and a few small bars. Open daily 11:00–23:00.
