About Royal Phuket Marina

A yacht marina on the east coast in Koh Kaew, ten minutes north of Phuket Town, built around 2006–2007 and given new life in 2025–2026 by a wave of restaurants and marine businesses. A boardwalk wraps around the harbour past sailing yachts and large motor cruisers, with cafés and restaurants along it. Many premium speedboat tours to Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi and the Similans leave from here, usually after breakfast on site, as do private charters. Parking inside is free; late afternoon is the nicest time to walk round.
