About Bangla Road
Patong's walking street and the heart of Phuket's nightlife: some 400 metres from the beach inland, closed to traffic every evening from six. Beer bars, live bands, big clubs with international DJs and go-go bars line it, with cheaper bars down the side lanes and late street food. Loud and crowded from ten until well past one; no place for children after dark.
Also known as Soi Bangla, Bangla Walking Street
