About Ma Doo Bua

One of Phuket's most photographed cafés, inland from Bang Tao: Thai wooden houses with red roofs around a pond of giant Amazon lily pads, a wooden pier and a long-tail boat for drone shots. Photos are paid for at the counter — from 350 baht to stand on a lily pad — and the Thai kitchen, with Phuket dishes such as moo hong, is better than the setting suggests.
