The rooftop bar of V Villas Phuket – MGallery, 55 metres above the sea on the hill over Ao Yon Bay at Cape Panwa, with a wide view of the bay and the islands. Cocktails with unusual ingredients, champagne and wine come with Thai dishes served as tapas, and live music or a DJ plays in the evening. Open every day 17:00–23:00. Its own rules: smart casual dress, no children under six and no pets; the front row is kept for hotel guests, so outside visitors do well to book.
