About Natai

Natai is our zone for the Phang Nga coast just across the Sarasin Bridge from Phuket's northern tip, in Khok Kloi subdistrict of Takua Thung district. Its heart is Natai Beach, about 10 km of coastline with soft golden sand that a 2025 guide calls almost untouched, 20 to 30 minutes by car from Phuket's airport.

Inland, Khok Kloi is the district's busiest town: a flat, low-lying community on the Phetkasem Road, the most densely populated part of Takua Thung, and a municipality since 1999. It lies 37 km from Phang Nga's provincial hall and 25 km from the district office.

By the bridge, seafood restaurants and roadside stalls of pineapples and coconut crabs greet arrivals from Phuket. Along the beach, private villas and a few resorts such as Aleenta and Baba Beach Club share the sand with the fishing boats of Natai Pier, and no jet skis or speedboats work the water.
