Kampong Kata Hill

A Thai and seafood restaurant on a small hill above Kata Road, in business for more than thirty years. A long staircase through a garden leads up to dining rooms full of antiques — the owner also runs an antique shop — one of them looking out over Kata. The menu is in English with photos of every dish, and service is friendly. It suits a relaxed dinner with friends or family, from afternoon into the evening.
