Kata Night Market

Kata's covered food market, just off Patak Road behind the Beyond Kata resort and a few minutes' walk inland from the beach; look for the gorilla statue at the entrance. Food stalls and shared tables sit under three large domed roofs, so it stays dry in a downpour. Open daily from noon to 23:00; it comes alive in the late afternoon.
