Vachira Phuket Hospital

The island's main public hospital, on Yaowarat Road in Phuket Town, run by the Ministry of Public Health. With about 600 beds it takes the most serious cases — major trauma, brain and heart surgery, cancer care and newborn intensive care — and its many in-house clinics range from dental to plastic surgery.
