About Wat Karon (Wat Suwan Khiri Khet)

Karon's own temple, a working one where monks lead the daily chanting and locals make merit. Inside are a rare black Buddha, a Chiang Saen Buddha and a Narayana figure riding a bull; each year between February and March the community gathers for the Narayana Gilding Festival.
