About Tha Rua Shrine
A Chinese shrine of more than a century near the Heroines Monument, which began in a private house where a statue of Po Seng Ti Te, the god of medicine, was kept. Its dragon-covered roofs and painted panels are worth a stop any day; for the nine days of the Vegetarian Festival it is one of the busiest shrines on the island.
Also known as San Chao Tha Ruea
