About Pun Tao Kong Shrine
A shrine on the steep hill road between Patong and Phuket Town, built around 1980 to protect drivers on its blind bends — passing cars still honk for luck. Behind the red-lanterned Chinese hall and the bell pavilion stands an older altar crowded with small tiger figures.
Also known as San Chao Phra Pun Tao Kong, Tiger God Shrine (San Chao Pho Suea)
