Good Shepherd School Phuket (learning centre for migrant children)

Talat Yai · Mueang Phuket

A charity learning centre in Talat Yai, Phuket Town, run since 2010 by the Good Shepherd Sisters for the children of Myanmar migrant workers. More than 250 children, from kindergarten to a youth group, learn to the Burmese curriculum with Thai and English classes, so that they can join a Thai school or go back into the Myanmar system. It runs on donations, and families who cannot pay are not charged.
