About Toh Daeng at Baan Ar-Jor

A family restaurant in Baan Ar-Jor, an old Sino-Portuguese manor house on the main road through Mai Khao, in the north of the island. The kitchen cooks Phuket recipes handed down in the family, from produce bought from local farmers and fishermen: crispy noodles with prawns, a pineapple and prawn salad, a red curry made with rambutan. Guests sit around a long red table, which gives the place its name. It holds a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, prices are modest, and it opens every day from morning to late evening.
