About The Boathouse
A restaurant right on the sand at the southern end of Kata Beach, one of the island's longest-standing places for a romantic dinner. Tables look out over Kata Bay, at their best at sunset, and the kitchen cooks Thai and European dishes. The wine list runs past 150 labels and has been recognised by the Wine Spectator awards since 1995; a pool bar sits by the beach. It opens from breakfast until late evening.
