About Mor Mu Dong

A seafood restaurant hidden in the mangroves of Chalong, on the Mu Dong canal that gives it half its name — the other half is Mor, the owner who started it. Diners sit in rustic wooden pavilions over the water, where the view shifts with the tide, and the live tanks in the open kitchen show how fresh the catch is. Order three or four southern Thai dishes to share. Weekend car parks fill with people driving from all over the island. A MICHELIN Bib Gourmand; open daily 10:00–21:00.
