About Kruvit Raft

A cluster of wooden rafts under thatched roofs, anchored in the channel between Laem Hin and Coconut Island, and the only floating restaurant in the MICHELIN Guide. A boatman at Laem Hin pier takes you across for free in about five minutes. Fish, crabs, prawns, lobsters and oysters live in nets beneath the decking until someone orders them, so the seafood could not be fresher; the grouper soup with Chinese soybean paste and the black tiger prawns with salt and chilli are the Guide's picks. Most dishes are priced by weight. Open daily 10:00–22:00; sunset is the best time.
