About Khrua Ohm

A small, informal restaurant in Kathu, one of the two local kitchens there that the MICHELIN Guide lists. Its cook walks the market each morning for the day's fish and cuts it by hand for southern Thai dishes: fish braised in salted soybean sauce, prawns with salted egg and acacia leaves, and wok-fried pork from the tender cut between shoulder and belly are the ones not to miss. Open 11:00–19:00, closed on Tuesday.
