About Kan Eang@Pier

Chalong Bay's best-known seafood restaurant, on the shore right beside Chalong Pier. It opened in 1973 as a small local eatery and is now a large, Thai Select-awarded place where tables line the water under huge shade trees, with the pier, the fishing and tour boats and the islands beyond. Phuket lobster, steamed blue crab with spicy lime dip and hor mok talay, a seafood curry mousse in a banana-leaf cup, are the dishes to order; most cost 300–500 THB. Open daily 10:00–23:00, with a big free car park.
