About Bang Mud Floating Restaurant

One of the floating restaurants moored off Laem Hin: several big rafts lashed together, with wooden huts on top and the sea all around. The fish are kept in nets between the rafts, so you choose one and have it steamed, grilled or fried, with the menu's photos to help. Prices are a little above seafood on land because everything comes by boat. You leave the car in a paid car park, walk to a short pier and ride a free longtail out; another one brings you back. It opens from 10:00 to 20:00, best for lunch with a view or dinner at sunset.
